This U Shape stair has two flights. The staircase is closed, has a cut outer string and is the feature of the room. It commences with a bullnose steps. Newel posts have been used at the change in direction to carry the winders. The treads are MDF with a rounded nosing and in this case mitered margins have been used for the carpet to neatly fit into. The balustrade uses timber handrail with 15mm diameter stainless balusters.
