The balustrade is timber with a rectangle (ex 50*25mm) baluster in combination with a feature double twist and basket steel baluster (S08). The handrail (80*60mm HR02) commences with over sized (ex 250x250mm) panel detailed newel posts over a double ended bullnose step. Smaller newels (ex 115 x115mm) are used at the changes in pitch. This closed staircase has traditional cut strings.
