The balustrade is timber with a turned (ex 50*50mm) baluster. The handrail (ex 80*60mm HR02) commences with newels on both sides over a double ended bullnose step. The handrail is hand carved and is wreathing and continuous at the changes in pitch. This closed staircase has closed strings.
