The balustrade is timber with a square chamfered (ex 50*50mm) baluster. The handrail (ex 80*60mm HR01) commences with heavily detailed custom designed newel posts. The handrail is hand carved, is wreathing and continuous at the changes in pitch. This closed staircase has cut strings with margin pieces.
