The balustrade is timber with a turned (ex 50*50mm) baluster. The handrail (75*50mm HR01) commences with an open wreathing scroll over a cluster and a bullnose step. The handrail is hand carved, wreathing and continuous at the changes in pitch. This closed staircase has traditional cut strings.
