The balustrade uses a timber handrail and an individually designed stainless steel balustrade with stainless bar. The handrail (ex 150*90mm Kidney pattern) commences with a wreathing starting piece and is continuous. The handrail has been hand carved and is fixed over pins. The vertical and horizontal bars intersect at the change in pitch. The staircase is closed and has closed strings.
