The balustrade uses timber handrail with stainless steel wire. The handrail (ex 75*50 HR 04) commences with return ends and is fixed over 50mm diameter stainless steel uprights. The uprights are fixed to the top of the treads. The handrail terminates at the intersection points. The staircase is open with a centre carriage engineered strings that crank to support the landing.
