The staircase is open with a centre carriage engineered strings that crank to support the landing. To lock the cranked strings in position they have been fixed into a joist on the back wall. The treads are ex 300*50 as are the landing boards. The lengths and space between the top and bottom flights have been off set to allow for finger room. The balustrade uses timber handrail with stainless steel wire.
