This U Shaped stair has three flights. The staircase is closed and has closed strings and is the feature of the entry hall. It commences with three bullnose steps that are Tasmanian Oak and that have a square nosing. Newel posts have been used at the change in direction to carry the landings. The treads in the top flight are MDF with a rounded nosing for carpet. The ASPECT balustrade uses timber handrail with 15mm diameter stainless rods.
