This straight flight staircase is an architectural statement and the feature of the entry. The strings are closed and are 65mm thick. The weight of the glass has been carefully considered in the design and the installation of this staircase. The widths of the flights have been adjusted to allow finger room. The balustrade is clear toughened glass that has been fixed into a rebate in the top of the string.
