This staircase commences with a bullnose step that has been shaped to allow for a scroll and has been crafted into a curved foot to the floor on the other. The strings are closed. The treads are ex 300*38 and have been finished with a rounded nosing. The newel tops and bottoms are detailed to match the period. The balustrade is timber with a square (ex 50*50mm) baluster.
This beautiful staircase is classically simple in form constructed out of solid Jarrah with champhered newel posts, square balusters and a moulded handrail. It sits perfectly in the foyer of the home.
