This large curved staircase is the feature of this entry. Both strings are a continuous radius. At the top of this staircase, at the change in pitch, the line at the transition point from string to fascia is a key consideration. The base of the staircase has been flared to open the entry point. The stair commences with a double ended bullnose step that has been shaped to allow for the installation of a scroll. The bullnose has been crafted into a curved foot to the floor. The strings are closed. The balustrade uses timber handrail with wrought iron.
