This T shaped staircase commences with a bullnose step that has been crafted into a curved foot to the floor on both sides and has been shaped to allow for a scroll. The bottom flight strings have been flared open at the bottom of the staircase to almost 1900mm between rails. Newels have been used at the changes in pitch and direction. The open section strings have been cut to the profile of the treads and risers but in this case margin pieces have been used to allow the carpet to finish neatly. The balustrade uses handrail HR01 with round steel balusters with a feature every fourth.
