This stair speaks for itself. It’s classic ‘New England’, very beautiful and proportionally perfect, even if we do say so ourselves. With a number of changes in pitch, and a curved section, this staircase had many challenges. The staircase commences with two bullnose steps that have been shaped to allow for the installation of a scroll. The bullnoses have been crafted into a curved foot to the floor. The inner string is cut to the profile of the treads and risers. Both the strings are curved. The balustrade is timber with a square (ex 50*50mm) baluster.
