This large curved staircase is the feature of this entry. This staircase has a change in pitch and direction, this design constraint makes the line at the transition point from string to fascia a key consideration. The base of the staircase has been flared to open the entry point. The stair commences with a bullnose step and a curved landing that has been shaped to allow for the installation of a scroll. The bullnose has been crafted into a curved foot to the floor. The strings are closed. The balustrade uses timber handrail with wrought iron.
