The balustrade uses timber handrail with stainless steel wire. The handrail (HR04 ex 70*45mm) commences with plumb cuts and is fixed over 50mm diameter stainless steel uprights with spreader bars every 1200mm. The handrail then ramps, intersects, turns terminating at the top of the staircase. The staircase is open with a centre carriage engineered strings that crank to support the landing.
