The balustrade uses timber handrail with 16*16mm square steel balusters with a feature baluster every fourth. The handrail (ex 80*60 mm) commences with a wreathing scroll over a cluster and double ended bullnose step. Then the ex 80*60mm handrail ramps, wreaths and curves at the changes in pitch. The staircase is closed and has a cut outer string.
